Shipping Policy
We value every purchase and do our best to ensure your order arrives quickly and safely. Please review the policy below for shipping timeframes and procedures.
Business Shipping Hours:
Tuesday – Friday, 9 AM – 3 PM CST (excluding national holidays)
Orders must be placed before 1 PM CST on a business day to be processed that same day.
Orders placed after 1 PM CST will be processed the following business day.
Orders placed anytime Friday after 1 PM CST through Monday will be processed on Tuesday.
We primarily ship through USPS and FedEx.
Please note: shipping fees are paid directly to the carrier and are non-refundable.
Online Orders — Shipping Rates
Shipping costs shown at checkout are estimates only.
For the most accurate shipping rate — especially on furniture and oversized items — customers must contact us before checkout at [email protected] or by phone.
We’ll provide a precise shipping quote based on your location and the size/weight of your order. Orders placed online without prior contact may be delayed until shipping costs are confirmed.
Expedited Shipping
For expedited shipping, orders must be placed before 1 PM CST to be processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1 PM CST will ship the next business day.
Sales Tax
Arkansas shipments pay 8.25 % sales tax at checkout. Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes on merchandise shipped to other states.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
All sales are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than damage or defect. This policy applies to both in-store and online purchases.
We encourage all customers to review product details carefully and reach out to us with any questions before placing an order.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please email [email protected] with photographs of the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
We’ll work with you to resolve the issue promptly through replacement or other appropriate remedies.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. For international orders that are unclaimed and returned to us, only the product cost will be refunded. Down South, Inc. is not responsible for additional shipping costs for reshipments or for packages lost in transit without proof of delivery.
